Example, Sarah Story: Invisible Wind Factory, Liverpool

Example bounced around to a packed out crowd at Invisible Wind Factory, Getintothis’ Abi Moss Coomes was there to take it all in.

Having released his sixth album, Bangers & Ballads in August last year, Example has embarked on an extensive UK tour, taking in a date this weekend at Invisible Wind Factory.

Warming up the crowd at the infamous Invisible Wind Factory, Sarah Story’s two hour DJ set featured an eclectic mix of dance beats and remixed classics to get the night started.

The high energy performance pulled the crowds from the bars to the dance floor, getting them in the mood for Example’s highly anticipated appearance.

Arriving on stage at the packed out venue just after midnight Example brought all the energy he’s come to be known for during his long standing career.

You’d never have known he’s had to cancel the remainder of his upcoming UK shows in order to have knee surgery as he bounced across the stage, joking with the audience.

Filling the set with a combination of old crowd favourites and newer releases from his aptly named 2018 album Bangers & Ballads, the atmosphere was electric as the crowd jumped around, making up for any movement Example was lacking due to injury.

With such a feel good vibe it’s clear to see why even after his sixth album Example gigs are still selling out night after night.
