Spring King announce O2 Academy date, The View front man to play EBGBs on debut solo album tour and Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley premieres a new track coming out of Skeleton Key ahead of Sound City.

Psycho tropical European collective Pink Kink this week announced the end of the road as a band.

Formed in Liverpool, their eclectic live presence proved popular on a local and national level and they were due to tour this summer after supporting Pussy Riot last November.

It remains an exciting mystery, as ever with the band, on where they will go next.

Metal prog rock outfit SiKth will play Hangar 34 as part of their UK tour.

The Watford band are touring their fourth and latest studio album, The Future In Whose Eyes? and will be supported by Liverpool band Loathe.

Featuring in Getintothis’ Dysguesia column, as one of the albums of 2017, the tech metal group are regarded as one of the most influential bands of recent times.

I Love Live Events are bringing them to the city on Saturday, September 15.

Reverend and The Makers have announced a date at O2 Academy as part of a 3-date tour.

Fronted by Jon McClure, they will be supported by fellow Sheffield bands Redfaces and Sophie and The Giants on Saturday, October 13.

The gig will see the band play songs from their recent album, To Kill A King as well as tunes from their extensive discography that always prove popular with Liverpool crowds. They’ll also play in Leeds and Nottingham before coming to Liverpool.

Spring King will return to Liverpool with a gig at O2 Academy as part of their UK tour.

They’ll play Warrington’s Neighbourhood Festival later this month before the fourth date of their tour which will see them headline Academy 2 on Saturday, September 22.

The View frontman Kyle Falconer will play in Liverpool following the release of his debut solo album, No Thank You.

The Dundee man will play at EBGBs on Friday, September 7 as part of a UK tour.

Liverpool’s acclaimed six-stringed poet, Marvin Powell, has finally broken cover to release his first new material of 2018 with the four-track Opulent Heart EP, appearing once more on the talent-heavy roster of Merseyside’s own Skeleton Key Records.

The release comes a day prior to a slot at Liverpool Sound City where Powell will play the Constellations Garden.
