There’s simply no excuse for staying at home bored in Liverpool this week, as Getintothis‘ David Hall guides you through the pick of the city’s live scene.
Last week may have spoiled us slightly for big names coming to town, especially in the shape of Elton John, Hans Zimmer and Africa Oyé. Whilst this week’s names would appear in a smaller font on many festival posters, that doesn’t mean there aren’t masses of gigs worthy of your attention.
There are lineups as long as your arm across the city in the coming seven days, with bumper rosters awaiting at the weekend, if you’re able to drag your sorry carcass through another working week.
Whether it’s something retro you’re after, or you’re more a connoisseur of the cutting-edge, Merseyside as ever has you covered. There are famous punk firebrands in the offing this week, plus classic rock survivors and sitcom stars turned superstar deejays. Find out who’s who by reading on!
