As Natalie McCool announces her new album and headline UK tour, Getintothis’ Jake Marley provides the details and takes a listen to the lead single.
Natalie McCool has announced the release of her new album The Great Unknown, out this autumn exclusive to Pledge Music.
Prior to her album campaign McCool headed out across the country playing intimate house gigs for fans, further developing her fan-base whilst also giving something back to long-term supporters.
You can hear the albums’ early workings below, shared in the form of an early cut titled MAGNET, a hybrid of chunky riffs and throbbing 90s synth, over love-sick lyricism, taking small inspiration from her previous collaborations with both D R O H N E and Bernard Butler, whilst also sticking to her love of 90s pop.
Along with the album announcement, McCool has added a 15-date headline UK tour culminating in a hometown date at Liverpool’s Buyers Club on October 1, which will be the first opportunity to hear the new record live.
