Ahead of their shows at SXSW next month, Getintothis plays host to an exclusive cut from London garage party-makers Thee MVPs upcoming live album.

Gravesend/London’s finest garage punk band Thee MVPs are set to release their first live record Live in London, and Getintothis is delighted to present an exclusive track from it.

Funeralrecorded at The Victoria in Dalston,  captures the band at their messy, spiky finest. Or as the band themselves put it: “live in the back room of a pub filled with free beer drinkers, heavy metal cliquesters and snotty summer punks pissed off with winter.

Live in London will be released on March 11 – self-released in the UK and on Lolipop Records in the US.

Also in March, the band are heading over to America for South by Southwest as well as doing a bunch of gigs on the Lolipop Records SXSW Caravan Tour.

In April, they’ll be back in the UK supporting Twin Peaks in Sheffield, Glasgow, Manchester and London.

But before all that you can catch the band celebrating the launch of a new 7” from fellow trashmongers The Hipshakes on Friday 19 February at the Fuel Cafe Bar in Manchester. If you’re in London, they play with the Black Tambourines on Thursday 18 February.

You find more info on the Manchester gig here, and tickets for London here.
