Wolf Alice to play Liverpool’s Arts Club in March – Exclusive

Wolf Alice

Wolf Alice will play Arts Club this March

In a Getintothis exclusive, Craig MacDonald has all the details as the highly acclaimed four piece, Wolf Alice, add a Liverpool date to their UK tour.

In what will be their biggest UK tour to date, we can exclusively reveal that North London four piece Wolf Alice have added a date at Arts Club on March 9. Having gained rave reviews for their superb debut album My Love Is Cool, the group are seen as being right at the forefront of a guitar rock renaissance with their ferociously acidic cuts.

The quartet have gone from strength to strength since their formation in 2010, with their live shows matching the ability to shift from collective coolness to rabid vicious assaults that they effortlessly demonstrate throughout their debut LP. They are able to piece together elements from all corners of the musical spectrum, embracing country folk and shoegaze via grunge, while being both feral and ethereal in equal measure.

In what has recently been something of a stagnant pool for indie guitar-based music, the band have injected a much needed dose of imagination and vigour into the scene. Having not played the city since Sound City two years ago, we fully expect tickets to be snapped up when they go on sale Friday from 9am. Get yours here.
