Phosphorescent readies Kazimier date

Hey Muchacho! Phosphorescent is coming to Liverpool – get involved.

Phosphorescent has announced a string of winter tour dates including Liverpool’s the Kazimier for Saturday November 9.
Long-time Getintothis favourite, we’ve followed Matthew Houck, aka Phosphorescent, since his Dead Oceans debut Pride in 2007.
Nearly three years on from his breakthrough album Here’s To Taking It Easy,
Houck returned with perhaps his most stunning, certainly most immediate record yet: Muchacho earlier this year.
Cloaked in rich, enveloping melodies and subtle orchestration, Muchacho melds Houck’s velvety bruising vocal with sweeping, luscious melodies.
Muchacho reprises the understated melancholia and sensuous minimalism of Pride, while building on Here’s To Taking It Easy‘s delicate rhythms and electronic textures.
Should sound bloomin’ marvellous in the surrounds of the Kazimier.
